Faraway Asylum

Pronoia is a neologism describing a state of mind that is the opposite to paranoia; someone has a sense that there is a conspiracy that exists to do them good. It is a philosophy and belief that the universe is conspiring in your favour...Well, that’s one definition of the word but for me, Pronoia is the name of a music production company and true inspiration - both in music and technical know-how.

Far Away Asylum Studios are packed with Tony’s (aka Pronoia) own collection of rare and quirky instruments, which range from the latest electronic drumkits, basses and guitars to sitars, koras and an impressive assortment of world percussion. This is all set against a funky backdrop of psychedelic UV-lit wall hangings and brightly coloured posters. When you first walk into the studio, you instinctively want to start playing music and this is always greeted with Tony’s own natural enthusiasm and passion for playing. He will be happy to spend as long as it takes to set you up with the best quality instruments and the particular sound that you’re looking for.
